THE EXTORTION OF HEALTHCARE

I have named this healthcare proposal as extortion, because it will be forced upon the people under duress, and not by the will of the governed. I am still waiting for some to show me where in the Constitution it says that the government can force me to pay someone else's bills, including those citizens of foreign nations who have broken our laws and illegally entered the USA.

There was a report today that only 34 senators will vote for the healthcare extortion bill. This is less than the filibuster. Although Franken is still a clown, the joke is on Reid and Pelosi who thought they would easily achieve their extortion agenda in their new dictatorship. But, not so fast.......

I am happy to see that some blue dog democraps are waking up. However, I don't want to get too excited since most democraps are weak spineless self serving folks, and tend to fold with the slightest wind blowing.  It is interesting to note, that their objections are actually rooted in not wanting to be responsible for their votes causing higher taxes for their constituents. God forbid their objections be based upon the principles of the free market instead of socialism.

Why do the Lib-Obots think that if healthcare costs are too high that folks would have the money to pay for theirs and someone else's too?

Government healthcare

So today yahoo finance reported that the House [clowns, Franken included] made a deal with hospitals for $155 billion in health care. It seems that even some House Democrats' were concerned about the impact of taxing health care, most likely selfishly fueled by danger of losing the future votes of their constituents. So, instead, they make a deal with hospitals to accept less payments. What do the clowns think they will accomplish? Do they think the hospitals will provide care for free? The cause and effect of this, is that now the governtment forced health care rationing will now begin. What happens to those who need care now? The government is muzzling it's way in, to decide who lives and who dies. The fact that socialized medicine doesn't work in smaller countries, not nearly the size of the USA, doesn't seem to provide any kind of reality check whatsoever. Yet the Clowns seems to live in some fantasy land utopia where there is an unlimited supply of money, everyone is healthy, and people enjoy the government controlling every aspect of their lives.

The bigger picture is this. Why do the Obots believe it is the duty of the rest of us to pay for someone else's healthcare? It is my obligation to pay for myself. It is a parent's obligation to pay for their family. It is not the working people's obligation to pay for everyone else.

The USA continues on this downward spiral into socialism, and despite objections, the Clowns continue, thinking they know what is best. Here is a newsflash for the Clowns. People know what is best for them. It is a person's right to decide how they want to spend the money they earn. It is not the government's right. Once again, left isn't right.

Entitlements

"Entitlements" will probably be a big topic of discussion for me on my blog. This is a huge thorn in my side and really gets under my skin. I have so many issues with this, that I don't even know where to begin.

For starters, our true entitlements come from our Creator, not from our government. We are entitled to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That's it, and call me crazy, but I think those are pretty great. If you don't believe in your true entitlements, then go live in Cuba or some other oppressed nation and find out how the other half lives. I think our true entitlements, from our Creator, are invaluable.

That said, we are NOT "entitled" to steal from our neighbor. "Entitlements" as defined by the government are in essence stealing from one's neighbor. Growing up, I was taught that stealing was wrong. It is pretty simple. One is not "entitled" to something that belongs to another. So why is it that the general populace of the left thinks that not only is stealing right, but that it is expected? Our entitlement to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness does not include a free house, free car, free food, free healthcare, and free money from my paycheck and other hard working Americans. It also doesn't include spending money yet to be earned by future generations.

Don't get me wrong, I am in favor of being charitable and helping those in need. But this does not mean that others are "entitled" to what I have earned, and I am including the government in the "others" category. I find it interesting that the left portrays themselves as the friend of the poor and is there to help. Statstically, the left has more money than the right, and yet the right is substantially more charitable than the right. If you don't believe me, just google and compare Bush and Obama, Cheney and Biden for examples. The proof is in the numbers.

Not only is the left less charitable, recent news has also exposed the left as not paying all of their taxes. I think this news combined with the left's plan to increase taxes and limit the charitable contribution deduction is quite interesting. They are looking to enact laws that don't affect them very much personally, while they run around spreading propaganda that they are trying to help the poor, while bashing the right, and declaring that they and others are "entitled" to our money.

The madness must stop. This is why my motto is the "left isn't right".
